At this time, the best mechanism for phenotype searches is to start with MGI's Alleles and Phenotypes Query Form. Use the Phenotype Classifications pull-down list to query for alleles associated with the broad phenotype classifications. Peruse the alleles; selecting among them for more detailed allelic information. Review the Phenotype Classifications and Additional Notes sections, and use the link to Search IMSR strains with mutations to obtain a list of candidate strains.
