Alteration at locus: Knock-In
E14Tg2A.4 mouse embryonic stem cells were electroporated with a Rosa26 vector carrying the combined EF1a-tTA and TetO-mCh-Rs1 transgenes in a single construct. ES cells remain on the 129P2/OlaHsd background.

Donor recommends maintining the ES cell line in doxy-containing media to prevent any unexpected effects from Rs1 expression.
Requested cell lines are tested by PCR analysis for mycoplasma spp. and Murine Parvoviruses (MPV) upon completion of expansion and prior to shipment. Mice derived from requested cell lines via Microinjection services will be pathogen tested prior to delivery of mice and health reports will be provided. If you require additional health status information prior to requesting microinjection please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cryo-preserved ES cell line material can usually be shipped in 2 to 4 weeks. Genetic confirmation adds an additional 4 to 6 weeks (but is recommended to confirm that the material has not been contaminated or otherwise incorrectly identified). The microinjection services add an additional 10 to 12 weeks and can vary from cell line to cell line.
Distribution of this strain requires submission of the MMRRC Conditions of Use (COU). A link to the COU web form will be provided via email after an order has been placed; the form should be completed then or the email forwarded to your institutional official for completion.
