Instructions for Submitting an Application

  1. The Donating Investigator (DI) should read and agree to the terms outlined in Strain Submission Terms and Conditions (displayed on the first page of "Start Submission").
    Note: If your strain is accepted, you are expected to transfer it to the assigned MMRRC facility within 6 months; otherwise, you may need to resubmit your application.
  2. The DI must indicate acceptance of the Terms and Conditions by clicking the "I Accept" button.
  3. Complete the Strain Submission Application and submit it electronically. Reference citations and preprints can be attached to the application form or sent separately to the ICSC at Strain Donation Coordinator (see contact information below).
  4. At the beginning of the application form, you will be asked if you require a delay period in the listing or full distribution of your strain.
    Please see Delayed Release for more details.
    If requesting a "Delayed Release," please indicate by selecting "Yes" on this question and filling in the corresponding text field.
