Genetic Alterations
Knock-in targeting the Mtnr1a gene, predicting EGFP insertion into the c-terminal tail of this orphan GPCR, proximal to the last transmembrane domain and distal from its predicted PDZ domain. Additionally, separated by an IRES, Cre is knocked into the 3' UTR.

    Strain Development

CRISPR-mediated knock-in using C57BL/6J zygotes for injection of Cas9 protein, guide RNA, and a donor plasmid for homologous recombination. The line was sequence-confirmed and backcrossed to C57BL/6J for 10 generations and subsequently sib-mated.
